MASSEY HALL

Project

110 wood windows were removed from site and brought to our workshop. All coatings were removed with infrared heating elements. From there, all losses and deterioration were filled with either wood dutchmen repairs or wood epoxy. Once all frames were stabilized, they received one coat of double-boiled linseed oil and one coat of bonding primer. The top color applied was decided upon by the GBCA architects. Windows were then crated, shipped, and installed. All topcoats were removed from wood stage paneling and cleaned.

The wood was repaired, and the original stain finish was matched and applied to bring the paneling back to its original visual intent.
