The Full Story
ST. MICHAEL'S CATHEDRAL
Project
Removed all previous paint coatings on the Cathedral ceiling to reveal the original lime plaster finish that was applied during the original construction of the church. All wood windows paint coatings were removed to expose wood condition for assessment.
Once windows were assessed and catalogued, wood repairs were done with wood Dutchmen and wood epoxy, and primer and finish coats were applied to match the original color scheme. All decorative motifs were provided by the architects and painted on with hand cut stencils to embellish the transepts of the Cathedral.
